Woodchips

Woodchips are a wonderful byproduct of the work we do. People commonly use woodchips for weed control, retaining moisture in soil, and enhancing the aesthetics of a yard or garden. Woodchips are a natural way to add locally sourced organic material to your next project.

Firewood Logs

We offer local Cape Cod log length hardwood firewood logs. One truckload provides approximately 2 - 2.5 cords of unsplit firewood. Logs will range from green to semi-seasoned.

Arborist Site Visit

An arborist site visit (20 - 30 minutes) focuses on a specific project and includes an assessment of tree health, evaluation of potential hazards, and recommendations for care, treatment, or removal. An estimate for suggested services is provided after a site visit is completed.

An arborist consultation (see below) is appropriate for additional in-depth discovery, comprehensive discussion of landscape ideas, and long-term multi-project planning.

Arborist Consultation

Tree Health Assessment: The arborist evaluates the overall condition of trees, checking for signs of disease, pest infestations, nutrient deficiencies, or structural damage (e.g., weak branches, root issues).

Risk Evaluation: The arborist can identify potential hazards, such as unstable trees or limbs that could fall, posing risks to people, buildings, or power lines.

Maintenance Recommendations: The arborist provides advice on care practices, including pruning, watering, fertilization, or cabling/bracing to support weak structures.

Diagnosis and Treatment Plans: If issues like fungal infections or insect problems are found, the arborist may suggest treatments such as pesticide application, soil amendments, or additional diagnostic testing.

Planting and Species Guidance: For new plantings, the arborist can recommend suitable tree species based on our Cape Cod climate, soil conditions, and property owners’ goals.

An arborist consultation service (60 minutes) includes a Certified Arborist assessing and sharing knowledge on multiple factors regarding the trees and shrubs on your residential or commercial property. This meeting is designed to educate property owners, create a baseline record of tree health, and discuss a future plan for maintaining a property’s trees and shrubs.

An arborist consultation results in a written report summarizing findings, recommendations, and if applicable, a proposal for recommended services.

Inspection of Surroundings: The arborist will assess how trees are interacting with their environment—e.g., proximity to structures, root impact on foundations, or shading effects.

Legal or Regulatory Advice: If relevant (e.g., protected trees or local ordinances), the arborist can also advise on permits or restrictions.

Documentation and Reporting: An arborist consultation results in a written report summarizing findings, recommendations, and if applicable, a proposal for recommended services.
